Beyond the Logo provides brand strategy, visual identity development, customer journey mapping, customer experience design, system mapping, process automation, workflow design, CRM build and optimisation, website design, and related consulting and creative services. The specific scope of services for each engagement will be outlined in your signed proposal or engagement letter. Services outside the agreed scope may be offered at additional cost and will require written approval before work proceeds.
- The client agrees to provide all necessary information, feedback, approvals, materials, system access, logins, and content required to complete the work in a timely manner.
- The client warrants that all information provided is accurate and that they have authority to engage Beyond the Logo to perform work and access relevant business platforms.
- Delays in client feedback or information provision may result in project timeline extensions.
- Unless otherwise stated in your proposal, pricing includes two (2) rounds of reasonable revisions per deliverable.
- Revisions beyond the agreed rounds, or changes to scope after approval of initial concepts, will be quoted and billed additionally.
- Scope creep will be monitored actively to ensure expectations remain aligned.
- Beyond the Logo may recommend third-party platforms, software, or tools (e.g. CRM, automation tools, email providers, website hosting).
- The client is responsible for subscription costs, licenses, ongoing platform fees, and compliance with each third-party’s own terms.
- Beyond the Logo is not responsible for performance, reliability, pricing changes, or service interruptions of third-party platforms.
- Estimated project timelines will be provided as part of your engagement.
- Timelines are dependent on timely client input, feedback, and approvals.
- Delays caused by client unresponsiveness may result in timeline extensions or restart fees.
- Projects paused by the client for more than 30 consecutive days may attract a reactivation fee.
- Payment terms will be outlined in your proposal. Typically, a deposit is payable to secure your booking, with further payments linked to project milestones or monthly reoccuring payments.
- Work may be suspended for overdue invoices, and this will be discussed with the client if the situation arises.
- No final deliverables or usage rights will be provided until full payment is received, or will be handed over based on timelines – please refer to your proposal for details.
- All fees are quoted exclusive of GST unless otherwise stated.
- All final deliverables (logo files, brand guidelines, customer journey maps, process documents, automation workflows, etc.) transfer to the client upon full payment.
- Working files, draft materials, frameworks, proprietary methodologies, tools, or templates used in development remain the intellectual property of Beyond the Logo.
- The client receives full usage rights to final deliverables for business use but may not resell, license, or sublicense the work without written permission (for more information refer to section 14 on copyright explanation below)
By entering into ana engagement with Beyond the Logo, the client grants permission for Beyond the Logo to use work created – including but not limited to brand assets, designs, systems, screenshots, visuals, and case studies – for promotional purposes. This includes use in Beyond the Logo’s website, social media, advertising, video content, presentations, and marketing material, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Beyond the Logo delivers services designed to support brand clarity, customer experience, and operational optimisation.
- While every effort is made to deliver best-practice advice and implementation, the client acknowledges that Beyond the Logo does not guarantee any specific business outcomes, financial results, or growth. Business performance depends on multiple external factors outside Beyond the Logo’s control.
- Both parties agree to keep all confidential information disclosed during the project strictly confidential.
- Beyond the Logo will not share any client data, internal documents, or commercially sensitive information outside the scope of promotional usage outlined above.
- The client is responsible for ensuring their own compliance with privacy laws relating to customer data entered into systems we configure.
- Beyond the Logo’s liability is limited to the total amount paid by the client for the relevant project engagement.
- Beyond the Logo is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, loss of profits, or reputational harm caused by the use or inability to use deliverables or services.
- Either party may terminate this agreement in writing.
- In the event of termination, the client agrees to pay for work completed up to that date.
- Deposits are non-refundable once work has commenced.
- Any outstanding amounts remain payable in full upon termination.
These terms are governed by the laws of VIC, Australia. Any disputes arising under this agreement shall be handled through good faith negotiation and, if necessary, mediation before formal legal proceedings. By engaging Beyond the Logo, the client agrees to these Terms & Conditions.
Copyright is the legal protection automatically given to original creative works – such as your logo, brand collateral, customer journey maps, written content, and system documentation – once they are created. In simple terms, it defines who owns the rights to use, reproduce, or adapt the work. Under Australian copyright law (and most international jurisdictions), Beyond the Logo, as the creator, initially holds copyright over all work produced. Upon full payment, Beyond the Logo assigns usage rights for the final deliverables to the client for business use – meaning you can use your logo, brand assets, and documentation freely within your own business as part of your brand. However, working files, design source files, templates, frameworks, and any proprietary tools used to create your deliverables remain the intellectual property of Beyond the Logo unless otherwise agreed in writing. This ensures you have full freedom to use your brand confidently, while also protecting the creative frameworks and methodologies that allow us to deliver consistently high-quality work for all clients.
