Carrabay Rebar is built on steel – but also on strength of character. Behind the business is Brian Flannelly, a man with a mission that reaches far beyond the construction industry.

As a child, Brian fled his hometown of Carrabay to escape the devastating impacts of domestic violence. That experience became the bedrock of his purpose – to create a business that’s not just profitable, but powerful in its impact.

Carrabay Rebar exists to prove that masculinity and compassion can coexist. That even in the rough-and-tumble world of steel and construction, a business can stand up, speak out, and set new standards. As Brian puts it:

“If I could prevent just one abusive steel fixer working for me, I could potentially be helping my 5-year-old self.”

Brian approached White River Design for a full rebrand – one that would reflect both his values and his vision. Through our Brand Personality process, we uncovered The Ruler and The Creator, a combination that symbolises leadership, transformation and purpose-driven excellence.
