The Rural Fire Service Association (RFSA) plays a critical role in supporting the brave men and women of the NSW Rural Fire Service. When they approached us to redesign their printed newsletter, RFSA News, we knew this wasn’t just a design project – it was an opportunity to honour 21,000+ volunteers and fire fighters across New South Wales.

After the catastrophic 2019 bushfires, the dedication and courage of our fire services became front-page news. Our goal was to bring this same level of recognition to their quarterly newsletter by improving readability, layout, and visual engagement.

Distributed directly to frontline responders, this refreshed design reflects clarity, professionalism, and deep respect for the incredible work being done across the state.

We created:

  • Visual storytelling that celebrates volunteer efforts
